Privacy Policy

1. General Provisions

  1. The privacy policy specifies how the personal data of Users necessary for the provision of electronic services via the website https://sobkeram.com (hereinafter: the Service) are collected, processed, and stored.
  2. The Service collects only the personal data necessary to provide and develop the services offered therein.
  3. Personal data collected through the Service are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the Act on the Protection of Personal Data of 10 May 2018.

3. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  1. We may collect and process the following personal data for the purpose of:
    • registering an account and verifying the User's identity,
    • enabling login to the Service,
    • performing a contract for services and e-services,
    • communicating with the User (live chat, contact form, etc.),
    • sending newsletters (with the User's consent),
    • operating a comment system,
    • providing social networking services,
    • promoting the Controller's offer,
    • marketing, remarketing, affiliation,
    • personalizing the Service for Users,
    • conducting analytical and statistical activities,
    • debt collection,
    • establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.
  2. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude a contract or use other functionalities of the Service.

4. Types of Processed Personal Data

The Controller may process the User's personal data: name and surname, date of birth, residential address, email address, phone number, EU VAT ID.

5. Period of Processing Personal Data

Users' personal data will be processed for the period:

  • when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the expiration of claims after its performance,
  • when the basis for data processing is consent – until it is withdrawn, and after withdrawal of consent until the expiration of claims.

In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for periodic benefits and claims related to business activities – 3 years (unless a specific provision states otherwise).

6. Data Sharing

  1. Users' personal data may be transferred to: entities affiliated with the Controller, its subcontractors, entities cooperating with the Controller, e.g., companies handling e-payments, courier/postal service providers, law firms.
  2. Users' personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

7. Users' Rights

  1. The User of the Service has the right to: access their personal data, rectify it, delete it, restrict processing, transfer it, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  2. A request to exercise the rights arising from the aforementioned rights should be sent to the address contact@sobkeram.com
  3. The Controller fulfills or refuses to fulfill the request immediately – no later than within one month of receiving it.
  4. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing violates their rights and freedoms (GDPR).

8. Cookies Policy

The Service uses cookies to ensure proper operation and for statistical purposes. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the User's end device. The User can change the cookie settings in their web browser at any time.

  1. The Service collects information using session cookies, persistent cookies, and third-party cookies.
  2. Collecting cookies supports the proper provision of services in the Service and serves statistical purposes.
  3. The Controller fulfills or refuses to fulfill the request immediately – no later than within one month of receiving it.
  4. The User can specify the scope of access to cookies on their device in the browser settings.

9. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

  1. Users' data cannot be processed in an automated manner that would result in any decisions being made about them.
  2. Users' data may be profiled to tailor content and personalize offers with their consent.

10. Final Provisions

  1. The Administrator has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, provided that the rights of Users are not restricted.
  2. Information about the introduced changes will appear in the form of a notice available on the Service.
  3. In matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of GDPR and European Union regulations apply.
